Courtney Davies is an agricultural innovator, youth leader and microbiologist.
She recently graduated top of class with a Master of Natural Science degree in microbiology, creating a bioengineered bacteriophage antimicrobial tool for agriculture and human health.
She grew up raising dairy cattle and taking them to agricultural shows and was elected onto the Executive of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand last year. In this position, Courtney creates development programmes for young people to enter agriculture and raise livestock which she is passionate about.
